Rihab Ben Aicha is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer and Software Engineering Manager at Cognira with over 9 years of relevant experience. She is a Full Stack Data Scientist with a software engineering background and a passion for machine learning, deep learning, data science, and data engineering. Rihab has worked on multiple forecasting projects for retailers and has recently been more focused on data engineering and backend development work. She enjoys finding solutions to real-world problems and challenges. Currently, Rihab is a Research and Development Engineer at Cognira, where she is working on building AI-oriented solutions such as speech recognition and natural language processing (NLP). She is also responsible for building and deploying platforms to facilitate putting together scalable data pipelines and transformations. Prior to joining Cognira, Rihab worked at Infor as a Full Stack Data Scientist and Data Scientist. At Infor, she was involved in designing, implementing, and integrating a forecasting project for retailers. She helped in putting the architecture of the different components of a retail forecasting project, implementing data pre-processing component and forecasting component, integrating those components, optimizing run-times and performance of each of these components, and creating forecast comparison templates to facilitate evaluating the forecast quality. Rihab holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science and a Pre-Engineering Diploma in Physical-Chemistry from the Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies of Monastir (IPEIM). She is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering, Research Scientist, NLP, Backend, AI, Deep Learning, ML, and Integration.
